The last time I saw Raji

Here’s Raji and me in Vegas, at the NAB convention, April 2018. I told him I’d probably never see him again, and I wanted us to take a picture together. I was leaving the industry. He was full time in Japan. But we spent a few evenings together at the expo. Having dinner with colleagues, crashing the huge reception that Diversified Systems always had at Elvis’ former suite at what is now called the Westgate. I always liked Raji and there was something about him that pulled at my heartstrings. I knew about his usage and I had heard all the stories, but I liked him and I wanted to hang out with him and just experience a quiet moment with him. And that night we did just that.
